Training centre for healthcare professions and Lions Club Editha support the parents' home
As part of the "Market of Opportunities" project, trainees Lea Koch, Angelina Fiedler and Jonas Renne from the Training Centre for Healthcare Professions at Magdeburg University Hospital, led by Gina Damm and Tim Nickels, organised an information stand about caring for relatives of patients with oncological diseases.
As part of this, the project participants focussed intensively on help for parents and their children suffering from cancer. The trainees received support from the Elternhaus Foundation at Magdeburg University Hospital.
As a small thank-you for the support provided by Sandra Matz, head of the Parents' Centre team, the project team appealed for donations for the Parents' Centre Foundation at Magdeburg University Hospital. The Editha Lions Club responded to this appeal for donations and, together with the project participants, was able to present a donation cheque for over five hundred euros on 18 April 2024.
