Health Campus Immunology, Infectiology and Inflammation (GC-I³)
Inflammation is a critical contributor to other common diseases such as heart attacks, strokes, cancer, severe bronchitis, arthropathies and allergies. The goal of the Health Campus Immunology, Infectiology and Inflammation is to research and better understand acute and chronic inflammatory processes, to improve the treatment of common diseases and to educate the next generation of scientists and doctors.
In the GC-I³, members of more than 20 institutes and clinical departments of the OvGU combine their clinical and scientific skills in the field of inflammation medicine. The research, education and clinical care of the GC-I³ are driven by the motto:
