Welcome to the website of the University Clinic for Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

The University Clinic for Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at Otto von Guericke University has existed as an independent clinic since 1994. It is the first university clinic with a chair in the new federal states. We offer the entire spectrum of modern plastic and aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery (transplantations), hand surgery (replantations) and burn medicine. Due to our professional expertise in the field of hand surgery, we received the FESSH certification as a Hand Trauma Center in 2011. In addition, we are accredited by the Workers' Compensation Board for SAV (serious injury procedure). In our Center for Interdisciplinary Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, we work closely and collegially with other clinics to solve interdisciplinary challenges.
