Together with the team of the Orthopaedic University Hospital, I would like to welcome you.

Like other disciplines, orthopedics has made immense progress in both surgical and conservative therapy in recent years, enabling a high degree of quality of life and mobility to be restored to many patients with musculoskeletal diseases.

Our goal is to achieve the best possible therapeutic result for you! We want to fulfill this declared goal with specialists in the Orthopaedic University Clinic for the individual joints, the spine, and special diseases, such as wear-and-tear diseases (arthroses), deformities, sports injuries, joint infections, tumours, etc. We cooperate with all disciplines at Magdeburg University Hospital. Close coordination with the Department of Trauma Surgery, the outpatient clinic nursing team, the wards, the operating room, and physiotherapy helps implement this.
